Product description

This Renaissance Milan canvas print portrays the city during the age of Leonardo da Vinci and Ludovico Sforza, one of the most remarkable periods in Italian Renaissance history. Combining Renaissance art, Milanese history, and historical architecture, this artwork offers a visual journey through one of the greatest cultural capitals of fifteenth-century Italy.

At the center of the composition stand Leonardo da Vinci and Ludovico il Moro, the leading figures of Sforza Milan, accompanied by key personalities from their world, including Salaì, Cecilia Gallerani, and Caterina, Leonardo’s mother. The city unfolds through a detailed historical map of Renaissance Milan, featuring the Navigli canals, city walls, gates, monasteries, and the major construction projects that transformed the urban landscape.

Among the city's most important landmarks is Santa Maria delle Grazie, redesigned by Donato Bramante into one of the finest examples of Lombard Renaissance architecture. It was here that Leonardo created The Last Supper, one of the most celebrated masterpieces of Italian art and a lasting symbol of the Renaissance.

The artwork also recalls Leonardo’s greatest Milanese achievements and visions, including his studies for the Ideal City, urban planning projects, the monumental Sforza Horse, the Sala delle Asse, and the spectacular celebrations organized for the ducal court. In the background, the political events that led to the fall of Ludovico Sforza and the arrival of the French armies in 1499 complete the historical narrative.

This historical canvas celebrates Leonardo’s Milan as a center of artistic, cultural, and architectural innovation. Ideal for enthusiasts of the Italian Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci, Milan history, and Italian historical art, it is a refined decorative piece that combines culture, history, and timeless design.

Our Mission

Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:

from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.

The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.

Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.

In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.

It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.

Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.

Where are our products made?

Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.

In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.

Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.

IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.

For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.

What materials do we use for our products?

We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.

We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.

Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.

A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.

Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish

The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.

Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.

High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
