Product description
This canvas artwork with captions depicts the Roman world during the age of Julius Caesar, covering the Gallic Wars and the Roman Civil War that brought an end to the Roman Republic. Designed for enthusiasts of Ancient Roman history, historical maps, and Roman-inspired wall art, it offers a detailed visual representation of one of the most transformative periods of classical antiquity.
The map reconstructs the expansion of Rome between 58 and 44 BC, tracing Caesar’s military campaigns in Gaul, the crossing of the Rubicon, the conflict against Pompey and the Optimates—including figures such as Cato, Cicero, and Brutus—and the major battles that reshaped the Mediterranean world.
At the bottom of the map appears the dramatic scene of the Siege of Alesia, the final stronghold of Vercingetorix and the decisive battle that secured the Roman conquest of Gaul. Along both sides of the map, a detailed historical timeline highlights the key events in the life and career of Julius Caesar, providing additional historical context to the artwork.
Among the events represented are the conquest of Gaul, culminating in the Siege of Alesia, the victory at the Battle of Pharsalus, the Egyptian campaign alongside Cleopatra VII, the North African expedition ending with the Battle of Thapsus, and the final campaign at the Battle of Munda in Spain. The map also includes Caesar’s planned military campaigns against the Dacians and the Parthian Empire, ambitions left unrealized after his assassination on the Ides of March in 44 BC.
The integrated historical captions transform this artwork into a true narrative map of the Roman Republic, combining historical storytelling, educational design, and Ancient Rome décor. Every section is designed to guide the viewer through the rise of Julius Caesar and the events that changed the course of Roman history.
Perfect for home libraries, studies, offices, and history-inspired interiors, this historical canvas celebrates Julius Caesar as one of the greatest military commanders and political leaders of the ancient world, while offering a visually engaging tribute to the history of the Roman Republic.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
