Product description
This canvas print depicts one of the most famous and fascinating episodes of Ancient Roman history: the meeting between Julius Caesar and Cleopatra VII in Alexandria, during the decisive years of the Roman civil war.
The artwork captures Caesar’s stay in Alexandria between 48 and 47 BC, shortly after the Battle of Pharsalus, when the Roman general encountered the young queen of Egypt and supported her return to the throne.
Surrounded by the columns of the Ptolemaic palace and the symbols of Hellenistic Egypt, the scene portrays the moment when Cleopatra and Julius Caesar intertwined politics, ambition and destiny. Cleopatra appears as an intelligent and strategic ruler, while Alexandria rises in the background as one of the great cultural capitals of the ancient Mediterranean, soon to be transformed by the expansion of Rome.
The rolled carpet references one of the most iconic stories preserved by ancient sources: Cleopatra’s secret entrance into Caesar’s chambers, a symbol of political intelligence, charisma and calculated ambition. The artwork captures a pivotal moment in ancient history, where diplomacy, passion and power reshaped the future of the Roman world.
Part of the IBAM Ancient Rome collection, this historical canvas print combines Roman history, Egyptian history and classical art, making it an ideal piece for admirers of Ancient Rome wall art, Julius Caesar artwork, Cleopatra decor and historical Mediterranean culture.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
