Product description
This canvas artwork dedicated to Renaissance Milan portrays the city during the age of Leonardo da Vinci and Ludovico Sforza (Ludovico il Moro), at the height of the Italian Renaissance. Created for enthusiasts of Milan history, Renaissance art, and Italian cultural heritage, the artwork combines historical cartography, architecture, and artistic storytelling in a single composition.
At the center of the illustration stand Leonardo da Vinci and Ludovico Sforza, the leading figures of fifteenth-century Milan, accompanied by key historical characters including Salaì, Cecilia Gallerani, and Caterina, Leonardo’s mother. Their portraits are integrated into a detailed map of Renaissance Milan, featuring the city's canals, defensive walls, gates, monasteries, and major architectural projects.
Among the most important landmarks depicted is Santa Maria delle Grazie, transformed by Donato Bramante into one of the masterpieces of Lombard Renaissance architecture. It was here that Leonardo created The Last Supper, one of the most celebrated works of Renaissance art and a landmark of Western cultural history.
In the lower section of the artwork, Leonardo and his loyal companion Salaì are shown walking toward Santa Maria delle Grazie to work on The Last Supper, which appears on the left side of the illustration. Along both sides of the historical map, a detailed chronology of Leonardo da Vinci and Ludovico il Moro guides viewers through the major events that shaped Renaissance Milan.
The canvas also highlights Leonardo’s most ambitious Milanese projects, including his studies for the Ideal City, urban planning innovations, the monumental Sforza Horse, the decoration of the Sala delle Asse, and the spectacular court entertainments created for the Sforza dynasty, including the famous Festival of Paradise. The political events that led to the fall of Ludovico il Moro and the French invasion of Milan in 1499 provide the historical backdrop to the composition.
This historical canvas print combines Renaissance art, historical cartography, and Italian history, transforming Leonardo’s Milan into a refined decorative artwork rich in cultural significance. Ideal for admirers of Leonardo da Vinci, Renaissance Italy, Milanese history, and Italian art, it brings one of the most fascinating periods of European history into any home, office, library, or study.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
