Product description
This canvas print depicts Julius Caesar’s army, active between 58 and 44 BC, the most mature evolution of the Marian model, built on long‑service professional soldiers. The legionaries, hardened by strict discipline and exceptional endurance, were renowned for the speed of their campaigns, their ability to face extreme logistical challenges, and their skill in constructing fortified camps and complex military works. The legion—identified by the eagle introduced by Marius—formed the operational and symbolic core of this war machine.
Under Caesar’s command, the legions reached an unprecedented level of tactical efficiency. The professionalization of the soldiers, combined with his strategic brilliance, made possible bold maneuvers, impeccable logistics, and a versatile use of troops trained both for combat and for military engineering. The personal bond Caesar forged with his men, grounded in mutual respect and balanced discipline, helped cement their unwavering loyalty.
Aware of the economic hardships faced by his legionaries, Caesar doubled their pay in 51–50 BC and introduced a stable system of land grants upon discharge, surpassing the earlier practice of occasional donatives. He also reformed the centurionate, creating a merit‑based career path that allowed even soldiers of humble origins to enter the equestrian order, strengthening cohesion and professionalism.
Contact with Celts and Germans led him to reassess the role of cavalry, which became a permanent component of the army thanks to the recruitment of allied contingents led by Roman officers. At the same time, Caesar introduced decisive innovations in military engineering: the bridges over the Rhine, the siege ramp at Avaricum, and the double lines of fortifications at Alesia are emblematic examples.
Finally, he grasped the need for a permanent deployment of troops along the frontiers, anticipating the defensive system that Augustus would later institutionalize. Thanks to these innovations, Caesar’s army became a model of power, discipline, and engineering—crucial to the political rise of its commander.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
