Product description
This canvas brings to life the vibrant image of Milan at the time of Leonardo and Ludovico Sforza, a city in transformation, suspended between political ambitions, artistic fervor, and grand urban projects.
The two protagonists, both born in 1452, emerge through a series of busts alongside figures who marked their lives: Salaì, the pupil whom Leonardo himself, despite loving, called a thief, a liar, stubborn, a glutton; Caterina, Leonardo's mother; and Cecilia Gallerani, the lady with the ermine and Ludovico's mistress. These faces interact with the map, which reconstructs Sforza-era Milan as a pulsating organism, crisscrossed by canals, walls and city gates, convents, and construction sites.
Among the highlighted monuments, Santa Maria delle Grazie stands out, begun in 1463 and radically transformed after the arrival of Donato Bramante in 1481. With the large Renaissance tribune, the choir, and the apsidal complex, Bramante introduced a new architectural language of harmonious proportions and pure geometries, marking the decline of Lombard Gothic.
In 1482, Leonardo arrived in Milan, bringing with him a multifaceted talent that soon captivated Ludovico. His first Milanese works include the Virgin of the Rocks, the Portrait of a Musician, and his initial studies on the ideal city, with elevated streets, distinct levels for traffic and pedestrians, and a redesigned Navigli canal system as modern infrastructure.
Concurrently, Ludovico's political life intertwined with his artistic endeavors: dynastic marriages, alliances, births, bereavements, and tensions that culminated in his ascent to the dukedom in 1494.
The following decade was an explosion of creativity. Leonardo painted The Last Supper in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, transformed the Sala delle Asse into a symbolic mulberry forest, designed the colossal Sforza Horse, and directed memorable spectacles such as the Feast of Paradise. But it was also a fragile period: the death of Beatrice d'Este, the French invasion of 1499, Ludovico's flight, and Leonardo's temporary abandonment of the city.
The map concludes with the artist's return in 1506 under French rule, his final Lombard studies, his collaboration with Melzi, his favorite pupil and principal heir, and his definitive move to France in 1516. It portrays a changing Milan, guided by artistic and political visions that still define its soul today.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
