Product description
This canvas depicts the map of the Roman world at the time of Gaius Julius Caesar, during the conquest of Gaul (58–50 BC) and the subsequent civil war (49–44 BC), also including his strategic objectives that were never realized: the campaign against Burebista's Dacia and the revenge against Parthia, responsible for Crassus' death in 53 BC.
At the beginning of his proconsulship, Caesar received Illyricum and stationed three legions there at Aquileia, perhaps with the intention of intervening against the growing power of the Dacians. However, the threat subsided, and Caesar turned his attention to Gaul, initiating the long campaign that guaranteed him prestige, wealth, and a devoted army.
After Crassus' death at Carrhae (53 BC), the triumvirate dissolved, and his relationship with Pompey deteriorated. In 50 BC, the Senate, urged by Cato, ordered Caesar to disband his legions and return to Rome as a private citizen. His refusal led to the flight of the Caesarian tribunes of the plebs and Caesar's decision to cross the Rubicon in January 49 BC, uttering the historic phrase "Alea iacta est" and thus starting the civil war.
After his victory in Spain (49 BC), Caesar assumed power as dictator and confronted Pompey in the Balkan peninsula, defeating him at Pharsalus (48 BC). He then pursued his rival to Egypt, where Pompey was killed. Here, Caesar supported Cleopatra in the dynastic war and became involved in the siege of Alexandria.
After restoring order in the East with the swift victory in 47 BC over Pharnaces II ("veni, vidi, vici"), Caesar returned to Rome and set off for Africa, where he defeated the Pompeians at Thapsus (46 BC). The last resistance was eliminated in Spain with the tough battle of Munda (45 BC).
Having become the absolute master of Rome, Caesar planned new campaigns against the Parthians, Dacians, and Germans, but his death in 44 BC halted all projects. Many of these conquests were only realized in the Augustan or Trajanic eras, while he retained the decisive merit of having subjugated the Celtic world and consolidated Roman expansion in the West.

Our Mission
Our project is a playful‑cultural experience designed for anyone who wants to live history in a new way:
from teenagers, who can approach the great events of the past in an engaging and enjoyable manner, to enthusiasts who wish to enrich their homes with artistic canvases capable of elegantly telling the stories and protagonists of our nation’s past.
The characters we portray are not simply figures from history: they are the roots of our identity, the voices that shaped our culture, our way of thinking, and even the places we inhabit.
Beyond visual impact, we want to restore the pleasure of touch: not only through the natural texture of cotton, but also through the tactile depth and glossy highlights achieved during printing — details that add dimension and a uniquely sensory feel.
In an age dominated by digital screens, our canvases invite you to rediscover an authentic, physical, and sensorial experience.
It is a product that blends quality and culture — but above all, it is an invitation to rediscover the pride of belonging to an extraordinary history.
Because being Italian means carrying with us a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.
Where are our products made?
Our products are entirely made in Italy, within the Over S.r.l. facility — a company active in the cardboard sector since 1978.
In 2025, a production department dedicated to digital printing for visual communication was introduced, allowing us to combine industrial expertise and aesthetic research within a single production space.
Every stage of the process takes place in‑house: from design to printing, from production to packaging, all the way to shipping. Everything is managed in our warehouse, giving us direct control over quality, materials, and timing.
IBAM is a registered trademark of Over Srl: a choice that ensures 100% Italian production, a short supply chain, and high quality standards.
For us, ‘Made in Italy’ is not a label — it is a concrete process, followed step by step.
What materials do we use for our products?
We place great importance on the quality of our canvas prints, made from 100% cotton — plastic‑free and naturally eco‑friendly.
We use GREENGUARD Gold‑certified inks, which ensure vibrant colors and exceptional long‑term stability, enhancing every historical and iconographic detail.
Likewise, for our cat beds we use corrugated cardboard, a fully eco‑sustainable material thanks to its recyclable nature.
A choice that combines environmental respect, functionality, and care for our four‑legged friends.
Difference between Textured Finish and Flat Finish
The textured finish allows for extremely realistic reproductions, adding depth and three‑dimensionality to the image.
Thanks to the use of up to nine layers of matte and glossy UV varnish, it creates a raised effect that simulates real brushstrokes and enhances the most distinctive details of the illustration.
High‑definition flat illustrations, on the other hand, use a single layer of matte UV varnish: they have no relief, but ensure vibrant, stable colors that remain resistant over time and to sunlight.
